Puig, a fashion and fragrance company located in Barcelona celebrates its 100th anniversary since its foundation in 1914 by Puig Castelló. To celebrate these 100 years of history, Puig has inaugurated the Puig Tower located in the Plaza Europa of L’Hospitalet de Llobregat in Barcelona. The project was made by the prestigious Spanish architect Rafael Moneo, winner of the Pritzker and Príncipe de Asturias de las Artes prizes, and the studio GCA Arquitectos.
ARLEX has collaborated in the interior design of the 23 plants and the 160 rooms and offices of the new headquarters, installing a total of more than 3,500m2 of partition walls. Among the client’s requirements, the most important were: a great aesthetic representation, functionality and high acoustic performance. That was made possible through the use of special glasses and the installation of double glass doors of the same thickness as the partition wall itself.
